Dr. Dale Bredesen has dedicated his career to studying Alzheimer’s with the goal of reversing it and, ultimately, preventing it altogether. He earned his MD from Duke University Medical Center, was Chief Resident in Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and was an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow. Dr. Bredesen taught at UCSF, UCLA, and the University of Califonia in San Diego. In 1998, he joined the Buck Institue for Research Aging as the founding president and CEO.

As part of his extensive research, Dr. Bredesen has identified several key contributors to subjective cognitive decline:

Type 1: Inflammation
Type 1.5: Blood Sugar
Type 2: Neurotrophic Factors, or “Building Factors”
Type 3: Heavy Metal/Mold Exposure
Type 4: Blood Flow
Type 5: Trauma

These contributors, and the processes at play in each, were used to develop the NeuroQ formula. The ingredients and therapeutic doses found in NeuroQ address each of these potential risk factors when used preventatively.
